SQEQE plush insert instructions: Warming, cooling, and care

SQEQE plush insert instructions: Warming, cooling, and care

Keep the leaflet beside you the first time you use the insert. These SQEQE plush insert instructions explain the warming, cooling, and cleaning directions on the Heatable & Coolable Stuffed Animals leaflet. They apply to products supplied with that matching leaflet. If your label gives different directions, stop and ask SQEQE which instructions cover your item.

Leave the plush body out when you warm the insert. The SQEQE Highland Cow product page specifies warming or cooling only the removable insert. These directions don't apply to ordinary plush toys, however similar they look.

SQEQE plush insert instructions: Check the parts first

Find the removable insert and read its label before setting a timer. You'll see both 'heating pad' and 'inner pouch' in the leaflet. Can't match a name to the part in front of you? Ask SQEQE to identify it before you switch the microwave on. Leave it unheated until that question is settled.

There is also a lavender-filled pouch described in the leaflet. You may take that pouch out if you don't like its scent. For someone allergic to lavender, though, the leaflet says not to use the product. It makes no allergen-free claim about the parts left behind. The option to remove a scent you dislike does not override the allergy warning.

The leaflet has no weight-assembly diagram. Use your set's weight-adjustment directions; this guide cannot tell you which extra bags go inside or how to combine them.

Before warming the insert

  • Leave microwave operation to an adult. Adult supervision is also required when the product is in use.
  • Before starting, check the insert itself: has it returned to room temperature? Remove all outer packaging. The fabric must be clean, and it must be dry.
  • Examine the item for wear or damage, including any escaped filling. If you find damage, put the item aside and stop using it.
  • Check the microwave for cleanliness and the turntable for free rotation. Check both before loading it. Set the identified insert in the center. Leave space around it; it must touch neither the walls nor metal surfaces.

Read the wattage first. The leaflet permits microwave heating only, with no oven, air fryer, or other heating method.

Read the heating limits before pressing Start

The figures below are maximum times printed in the leaflet. They are not a direction to use the full time on every occasion, and they do not guarantee a comfortable temperature.

Maximum heating times in the supplied leaflet
Microwave rating Maximum time Starting condition
600W-800W 120 seconds Room temperature only
850W-1000W 80 seconds Room temperature only

There is no row for 801W-849W. The table also leaves out ratings below 600W and above 1000W. For one of those ratings, ask SQEQE what to do. A time calculated from the nearest row would be a guess. Elsewhere, the leaflet says to begin with 30 seconds if you do not know the wattage. It doesn't give you a sequence of 30-second top-ups. Never go over the stated maximum.

Lift the insert out carefully. Finishing the microwave cycle doesn't necessarily mean its temperature has peaked. Do the leaflet's light touch test before anyone uses it. The warning about rising temperature applies after removal too. Let an overly hot insert cool before you touch it again or hand it over.

The leaflet notes that first heating can leave a little surface moisture, which ceases after several uses. This observation does not authorize heating fabric that was wet before you started.

Let it return to room temperature before reheating

Still warm from the last use? It isn't ready for another turn in the microwave. It must reach room temperature throughout before you heat it again. This can take up to one hour, according to the leaflet. Check it even when that hour is over. A timer tells you how long you've waited, not the insert's temperature.

That room-temperature rule also applies after freezing. Don't move an insert straight from freezer to microwave. Wait for room temperature and check for dry fabric before warming it.

How to cool the inner pouch

The cooling step starts with the inner pouch inside a freezer bag. Close the bag so it's sealed, and give it at least 4 hours in the freezer. Those are the cooling directions in the leaflet. The part named for this step is the inner pouch; leave the stuffed animal itself out.

The leaflet gives no skin-contact time or refrigerator method. Its four-hour minimum promises no temperature, cooling duration, or health benefit.

Woman using a damp sponge to surface clean a SQEQE Highland Cow plush

Clean the surface without soaking it

To clean a small mark, work on the surface with a damp sponge. Air dry the shell afterward. Take the lavender insert out before cleaning the shell, as directed. Put the removable parts somewhere they won't get wet while you clean.

Keep it out of a basin of water and out of the washing machine: immersion and machine washing are both prohibited. Don't take a detachable pouch as a sign that it's washable. The supplied directions give no pouch-washing method. After a spill onto the pouch, ask SQEQE about that item before another use.

The disposal direction for worn or damaged products is normal household waste. Take it out of use. Don't try to assess damage by putting it through another heating cycle.

Age guidance and use restrictions

Ages 3+ appears on the cover. Inside, the warnings cover both small parts and burns. Keep it away from children under 3. Older children still need adult supervision and a temperature check. Keep it away from the mouth. Do not chew, bite, crush, or ingest the contents.

If you have poor circulation, sensitive skin, or a lavender allergy, the warning is to avoid using this product. The leaflet also asks anyone with diabetes, circulatory problems, acute or chronic pain, or reduced heat sensitivity to speak with a healthcare professional before use. The do-not-use warnings still apply; the consultation instruction does not replace them. This is a comfort product, not a medical treatment.

What this guide is based on

We reviewed both sides of the SQEQE Heatable & Coolable Stuffed Animals leaflet supplied for this guide on October 13, 2026, and checked the Highland Cow product page for its removable-insert instruction. We did not conduct temperature tests. The photographed leaflet does not display a model number or revision date, so this guide cannot establish that every SQEQE plush uses the same heating schedule.

Hang onto the leaflet from your package. For unclear parts, an unlisted microwave rating, or conflicting directions, contact SQEQE with your product details and a photo of its label. Bought through Amazon? That's where the leaflet says to contact customer support.

FAQ

Can I microwave the whole stuffed animal?

No. These SQEQE plush insert instructions concern the removable insert. The restriction on the product page is clear: never heat the plush body. Have the part identified if you're unsure which it is, before switching on the microwave.

Can I use 120 seconds in a 1000W microwave?

No. The applicable row, 850W-1000W, stops at 80 seconds. You would be reading the 600W-800W row to get a 120-second maximum. Neither maximum replaces checking the temperature before use.

Does removing the lavender pouch make it suitable for an allergy?

There is no allergy assurance in the supplied instructions. The scent-preference option is separate from the allergy warning. You may remove the pouch because you dislike the smell. If you have a lavender allergy, however, the warning says not to use the product.

Can I wash the shell after taking out the insert?

The supplied care directions still prohibit immersion and machine washing. As directed, take out the lavender insert first. Clean only the surface with a damp sponge, then allow the shell to air dry.

Keep the directions with the plush

Store these SQEQE plush insert instructions alongside the leaflet, especially if you give the plush as a gift. A gift recipient needs to identify the part they can warm, find their microwave's limit, and know where to ask about unclear directions.
